Although over the years we have found great pleasure in serving the families in our service area, we find it impossible to carry on. The last few months have been a struggle for our family. In February the founder of our service and wife of Rick Johnson, Mary Hilton passed away. At the end of March, our 33 year old son, Don passed away suddenly and we are devastated with these losses. Randy and I have decided for our mental and physical health it is time to move on to a different chapter in our lives.
We contacted other laundries to find out if they would carry on this service and found out just this week that was not possible. FOR ALL CURRENT CUSTOMERS Our last delivery day will be Friday, June 2nd. We will be picking up our inventory of diapers and covers the following week of 6/5 - 6/9 (Monday through Friday).
If you wish to stop the service immediatelyjust let us know (Under this "REQUESTED CHANGES" link we added an option on the check boxes near the end for "we are ready to stop service". We understand that you have to make future plans for your child(ren).
If you wish to keep using our cotton diaper service until the last full week of May, you don't need to contact us. We will be picking up our inventory the first week of June (6/5 - 6/9).
If you wish to trade a week of service for one baby at $26.50 you can keep our diapers for basically $.53/each (for up to 50 diapers) in the diaper size you are currently using. We will bill you separately for those items. If you are using our covers and purchase our diapers, you can keep the covers for free as a gift from us.
After we pick up our inventory, we will be working in the office in June to get all of your accounts reconciled and refunded. We will issue any charges for any diapers you want to keep and refund any credits or Gifts that you have on your account. We will also refund the unused portions of Grandparent specials (that are normally non-refundable). Our staff will be minimal, so please email your detailed questions to us at dydeebaby@gmail.com.
We want to thank each and every family for your patience with us during this difficult time and we thank you for your loyalty during the length of our ownership. You have given us so much joy with the news of your babies' arrivals and sharing your lives with us. We regret not being able to continue to provide you with clean cotton diapers.
