How Does Our Service Work? (the details)

When You Are Ready to Commit to using our service – Register online or by phone at 800-589-BABY.
If you have more than one baby you want to use our diapers, let us know how many you have. Two babies does NOT cost double the cost for one (we offer you a discount). Until your Registration Confirmation phone call we can't:
We have the right diaper size for your baby!
We stock several different sizes of diapers. You can start cloth diapering anytime!
Registration Confirmation phone call – While on the phone, we will ask:
For parents that are expecting, we set up a pre-birth delivery date about 2 weeks prior to your due date. On your first delivery you will be charged for the diapers plus our one time start-up fee of $15. If you did not pay in advance at the time you registered, you will need to leave a check taped to your door (or call us with your credit card information) before your first delivery.
With your first delivery you will receive a start up pack (in a ziplock baggie) with our Service Guide, Folding Guides, one diaper that is infant size and a set of diaper pins (should you decide to use them). Your account will not be activated for weekly deliveries until you or a family member call us (see "When your baby is Born").
When Your Baby Is Born
Call us when the baby comes home to let us know your baby's name, birth date and weight. We will compare the baby's weight to the size diapers we provided. We will check with you to determine if you need more diapers prior to your next delivery day, and then we activate your account for weekly deliveries.
What can you do with any disposable diapers you received as gifts?
In keeping with our commitment to help people "go green", we make you a one-time offer. If you received single-use (disposable) diapers as gifts, you can donate them to us (in unopened packages)for a credit on your account toward cloth diaper delivery costs. To receive a credit you must place these outside for our driver to pick up on your first delivery. We will credit up to the cost of three weeks of service (or approx 300 diapers). If you want to check what your credit will be, please call 800-589-BABY. We donate the single-use diapers to charitable organizations for homeless families or families of domestic violence.
What Do I do With Soiled Diapers?
We take care of the dirty work for you – no rinsing, no soaking! Just place the soiled diaper in your hamper (think of all the waste you are saving). Our diapers have a bacteriostatic agent in them (just like hospitals use in their linens) to help prevent mildew/mold.
How Does Weekly Delivery Work?
You will not be asked to sign contract. We request that you give us 2 weeks notice that you want to stop deliveries. The first week you will be charged and diapers will still be delivered. The second week, please place all diapers in a bag along with your soiled diapers. The diaper hamper is yours to keep.
Unreturned Inventory
Cloth diapers are costly and we want them returned; you can image what would happen to our inventory if every customer kept a dozen when they stopped the service! When we receive your last pick up of diapers the quantity returned will be compared to the amounts we sent out on deliveries less the amount you returned. If there is a shortage of diapers returned we will notify you, and set a date with you for us to return to pick up. Some times there are still diapers at different locations (grandparents, or other family member's homes) that you may have forgotten about. If you do not return them, you will be charged (see our Service Guide for cost).
What if you have questions about diapering?
We have an expert with over 20 years of diapering experience to assist you! Many new parents are overwhelmed at how many things they are learning to do differently. We are here to guide you – no question is too small! We also provide folding guides and videos to aid you.

How Does Weekly Delivery Work?
- We deliver and pick up the same day each week (see National Holiday section). You do not need to be home!
- Each night before your delivery day, remove the liner from your soiled diaper hamper and close the bag (twisty tie or tie the plastic at the top).
- Each delivery day (the same day of the week, about the same time) your delivery driver will pick up the soiled bag and look for any notes or envelopes (with payments) attached. You can leave a note that you need more hamper liners or hamper deodorizers and they can provide those from the delivery truck supplies. If you want to pay your driver in cash, please leave a note for them to knock at the door.
- Look in your clean diaper bag for any Notices from us! They will always be on the top or bottom of all the diapers. If you did not provided us with an email, you will receive all information (Quarterly Newsletters, Notices, etc.) in your clean diapers.
- We count the number of soiled diapers you return to us (by size). If your soiled diapers are not out the driver may knock on your door to request them. If nobody is home, your driver will note that there were no soiled diapers to pick up.
- If you forgot to put soiled diapers out for us to pick up, you should contact us to let us know about how many CLEAN diapers you had before your most recent delivery. This will help us determine about how many CLEAN diapers to send you the following week. HINT: Our diapers are packed in groups of 10, with the 10th diaper folded over the top of that "bundle".
- Keep your soiled diaper bag(s) in the coolest location possible to help reduce the chance of mold or mildew growing until we return the following week.
- Your delivery driver will leave your clean diapers in the same location every week. In the winter, if you are not at home or you don't have a covered porch area, you may want to provide a container outside for us so your clean diapers are not exposed to the weather.
- If you leave a check or cash for payment your driver records your payment before he leaves. If your account shows it has been more than 6 weeks since we received a payment, the driver may leave a door statement showing what you owe as of that day. For families that do not pay for more than 6 weeks, we may leave a statement that says we cannot continue to deliver until we receive payment.
- Notify us (go to our Customer Center) that you have an abundance and don’t need a delivery. You will pay the same weekly price because you are still using our diaper inventory.
- If we notice that the quantity of diapers you are returning is far less than what we are delivering, we reserve the right to decrease your quantity of clean diapers. This will result in you using most of the diapers in your home, instead of having way too many.
- We will still want to pick up your soiled diapers and wash them!
- What you do to help – Our diapers are bundled into groups of ten. On average new babies go through 10 changes/day. When you receive your clean diapers, count how many groups of ten you have. Notify us (go to our Customer Center) if you think you will not have enough. We need two week days advance notice for UPS to deliver to you.
- What we do – We will prepare a special delivery for you and note it in your records. We absorb the cost as long as you have been regularly putting diapers out for your pick up and/or your account indicates you are not past due on your payments.
- Notify us (go to our Customer Center) if you would like a double delivery the week before you leave so you can take diapers with you. We will charge the same weekly rate while you are gone, since you have taken 2 deliveries in one week.
- Notify us if you would like to skip a week of delivery due because you will not be at home and have decided to use a different diapering method. The charge for a week's vacation (skip a week of delivery) will be reduced to $2. There is a maximum limit of 6 weeks per year to the reduced vacation price.
- If your delivery day falls prior to the Holiday, your delivery will remain the same.
- If your delivery days falls on or after the Holiday that week, your delivery MAY be delayed by one day. Look in your clean diaper bag for any NOTICES from us about your delivery date changing.
You will not be asked to sign contract. We request that you give us 2 weeks notice that you want to stop deliveries. The first week you will be charged and diapers will still be delivered. The second week, please place all diapers in a bag along with your soiled diapers. The diaper hamper is yours to keep.
